With so many styles and colours available you may be wondering where to start?

We have put together a useful guide to get you thinking...

  • Try to choose a style that is in-keeping with the style of your home.

  • Give some thought as to how long you intend to keep the kitchen, an ultra modern look may be great now, but could look dated in a few years time.

  • Are you considering moving in the not so distant future? If so, a classic style would be the best investment as not to offend your prospective buyer

  • Do you get much natural light in the kitchen, if the answer is no, then obviously a light kitchen with possibly a gloss finish would be ideal to help reflect what light is available.

  • Have you got pets? A solid door would be the best choice here, as any type of laminate would be more easily damaged by stray fangs and claws.

  • Do you want an easily maintained kitchen? A plain slab door without any intricate detailing would be the ideal choice here, perhaps in a gloss finish, for an easy to wipe surface.
